Doctoral students

We currently have five full and part-time doctoral students in medieval studies, their project working on a variety of projects connected to Lincoln Cathedral archives in particular. They include:

  • Abigail Dorr (FT: RIF-funded doctoral student), The Economic Records of Lincoln Cathedral in the early fourteenth Century (supervisor: Philippa Hoskin, with Jamie Wood as second supervisor)
  • Sam Howden (FT), Richard Gravesend bishop of Lincoln and his political and ecclesiastical networks (supervisor: Philippa Hoskin, with Antonella Liuzzo Scorpo as second supervisor)
  • Kathryn McNeil (PT), The Chantries of Lincoln Cathedral (supervisor: Philippa Hoskin, with Joanna Huntingdon as second supervisor)
  • Sara Mederos (FT), Lincoln Cathedral ms 114 and Bridget of Sweden (supervisor: Philippa Hoskin, with Jamie Woodo as second supervisor)
