I received my BA in History with first class honours from the University of Lincoln in 2013. Dr. Philippa Hoskin supervised my undergraduate dissertation, which analysed how far foreign influence was tolerated in the personal reign of King Henry III. I continued my studies at Lincoln in 2013, where I completed my MA in Medieval Studies. My MA dissertation compared the episcopal administrations and political careers of two thirteenth century bishops of Hereford, Peter of Aigueblanche and Thomas Cantilupe. I am currently studying full time at Lincoln for a doctorate under the joint supervision of Dr. Philippa Hoskin and Dr. Antonella Liuzzo Scorpo, where I am conducting the first major study into the life, political career and episcopal administration of the much overlooked thirteenth century bishop of Lincoln, Richard Gravesend.
